We all know that eating sweets like donuts is not good for our waste line. They are made out of highly processed and modified flour, they are full of genetically modified plant oil and tons of added sugar. They have zero nutrition and tons of empty caloriesSo how about replacing it with healthy, sweet foods like fruits or honey? These are natural and healthy, aren’t they? Yes, correct, as long as you take it directly from the nature or buy organic. If you eat natural fruits you get fiber and nutrients.
Remember though that fruits are seasonal foods. Most fruits and berries grow and ripe later in summer. It is designed that way by our nature. In the old days, when winter came by and food became less available, humans and animals stored extra fat to use it for energy and survival during those cold winter months. This is how our bodies are built and fruits help us gain weight. Nature created everything on this planet for purpose and in harmony; unfortunately humans have been messing it up.
Organic natural fruits are healthy, yes, but that doesn’t mean that you should consume fruits every day. Fruits, by nature, are designed to get us fatter, they contain sugar. If your goal is to lose weight, limit your fruit intake to once or twice per week and choose less sweet tasting fruits. Choose green, sour apples instead of sweet red and yellow ones. Eat berries instead of bananas. Buy your fruits fresh and when they are in season. Also, do your best to buy your fruits from the local farmers and not the big chain stores. If you come to the fruit section and you see 200 shiny identically shaped and sized apples, run away. Nature doesn’t have a perfection in numbers. You don’t see 200 people looking exactly like one, and there shouldn’t be 200 apples that are perfectly identical. Choose smartly!
